Managing Urinary Incontinence
- Specially trained clinical staff initiate a comprehensive assessment including medical history, musculoskeletal screen, review of dietary and voiding habits, targeted muscle strength/weakness analysis and a pelvic floor assessment.
- Includes determination and type of incontinence differentiation (Stress, Urge or Mixed).
- Interventions including neuromuscular education (biofeedback), home exercise program, and/or electrical stimulation as indicated.
- Outcomes focus on reduction/elimination of incontinence episodes and re-engagement in more productive lifestyle.
