St. Mary's Pathologist Specialize in Disease Diagnosis and Management
The pathologist is a physician who specializes in the diagnosis and management of human disease by laboratory methods. Pathologists at St. Mary’s Medical Center practice as consultant physicians, developing and applying knowledge of tissue and laboratory analyses to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of individual patients. Pathologists participate in day-to-day care of patients by providing and interpreting laboratory information to help solve diagnostic problems and to monitor the effects of therapy. Under the direction of four board-certified pathologists, testing is performed by highly trained and skilled professional clinical laboratory scientists who provide extensive knowledge and experience to help manage patient care.
Dr. Lori Lynch and Dr. Meredith Gamblin completed surgical pathology fellowships during which additional experience with lung pathology was obtained. Our pathologists include:
