ICD-10 Information for Medical Staff
30 Minute ICD-10 Physician Refresher Courses: April 14- May 14, 2015
Physician education and readiness is a key component in St. Mary’s ability to successfully transition to ICD-10. Beginning April 2015, St. Mary’s will be offering short, 30 minute ICD-10 refresher courses to physicians in specialties identified as being able to benefit from additional education. Some areas doing well with their documentation will not require additional education.

ICD-10 Physician Education Quick Facts:
- Each session will last approximately 30 minutes and will be on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
- Some specialties that are documenting well are not assigned additional education sessions but do have areas noted for room for improvement (see below).
- CME credit will not be offered as this is a refresher course.

Specialties Not Requiring Additional ICD-10 Education
The specialties listed below have been identified as doing very well with their ICD-10 documentation and do not need to complete a refresher course. Great job! However, for each specialty you will note areas identified as needing improvement. Please take some time to look through these and address them as you document.
