St. Mary’s Medical Center and St. Vincent Cancer Care have partnered to provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art treatment for women with cancers of the female reproductive system. Drs. Gregory Sutton, Michael Callahan and Hubert Fornalik provide consultation and follow-up services at the Gynecologic Oncology outreach clinic held at St. Mary’s Hospital for Women and Children.

Gregory Sutton, MD, FACS, FACOG received his medical degree from the University of Michigan. He completed his internship and residency at Duke University Medical Center and gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Sutton’s interests include uterine sarcomas, robotic and laparoscopic surgery for pelvic malignancies and benign conditions, as well as developmental chemotherapy.

Michael Callahan, MD, trained in gynecological oncology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Callahan has special interest in gestational trophoblastic diseases, hereditary predisposition to gynecologic cancer, and the surgical and chemotherapeutic management of early and advanced uterine, cervical, vulvar, and ovarian cancers, including intraperitoneal chemotherapy.

Hubert Fornalik, MD, trained in gynecologic oncology at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. Fornalik’s research focuses on the molecular and clinical aspects of endometrial cancer, with special emphasis on minimally invasive treatment.  He has special expertise in robotic surgery, its application for obese patients, and intraperitoneal chemotherapy for ovarian cancer.

St. Vincent gynecology has been ranked #18 in the country and the Gynecology Oncology department is currently the largest practice, by patient volume, in the state of Indiana. Combined, Drs. Fornalik and Sutton have completed over 600 robotic procedures at St. Vincent Indianapolis, including para-aortic and pelvic lymph node dissections.  In addition, Drs. Callahan and Sutton were named Top Doc for the second consecutive year by Indianapolis magazine.
