Comprehensive Benefits Package - Nursing
Salary - Based on experience. Salary is figured at time of offer.
Overtime - Employees are paid one and one-half times their regular rate of pay for hours worked according to policy.
Shift Differential - Given to Employees who work evening, night, and weekend shifts. This is in addition to regular base pay.
Short Term Disability – Benefits equal 60% of your base pay, to begin on the 8th calendar day while you are on an approved medical leave up to 90 days.
Paid Time Off - Employees earn PTO based on hours worked.
Paid Holidays - St. Mary's recognizes seven national holidays. Employees who work these days are paid one and one-half times their current base rate. Full time employees receive a day off with pay.
Tuition Assistance - Upon employment, Employees who are seeking professional and technical growth at an accredited college or post-secondary institution are eligible for tuition assistance. Full-time Employees are eligible for $3,000 per year. Part-time Employees are eligible for $1,500 per year.
Benefits - This includes Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance. These services are offered to Employees and their dependents based on the number of agreed hours worked.
Life Insurance - Is provided by St. Mary's Medical Center at no cost to Employees who are in a position that is 20 hours per week or greater.
Continuing Education - Pre-approved expenses related to attendance at continuing education programs outside of St. Mary's Medical Center are reimbursed.
Retirement Plan - Automatic contributions are made to the Retirement Savings Plan after working 1000 hours in a calendar year.
