If I Ever Need A Hospital Again, I Will Be Back!
I was unexpectantly required to be admitted recently. It has been years since I have been an inpatient at St. Mary's but I cannot believe the improvements in your hospital. From the time I walked through the front doors everyone I had contact with greeted me with a smile and were very helpful and attentive to my needs. I was so very impressed with everyone who took care of me and the room was immaculate all the time.
I wish I could remember all the names of everyone who took care of me but they were the best I have had in years and my latest stay was in May at Owensboro and there is no comparison. The only reason I went there is because I am a dialysis patient at Davita in Tell City and the doctors are from Owensboro and I thought it was too hard to get my dialysis info transferred but I found out different so from now on I will come to St. Mary's and bypass Owensboro.
The care I received at St. Mary's was better than I would have even expected. I cannot say enough good about everyone from nurses, techs, lab personal (oh and I do remember one lab guy that I had - Rodney - and he was wonderful - got in on first stick and my veins are awful), the dialysis unit is the bomb and the people in testing were so attentive to my special needs as I have had many back surgeries and do not move very well. Once again if I ever need a hospital, I will be back.
