I've Never Felt So Much Concern and Support from Anyone
Last year, I found out that I was expecting. There was no doubt in my mind that I would give birth to my baby at St. Mary's. My family doctor referred me to Dr. Melton. From the very first time I met her, I knew she was the right doctor for me.
In May I started having extremely bad pains in my abdomen and I would end up in the ER. That particular August evening I was taken upstairs to Labor and Delivery. The doctors and nurses determined that my pains were actually gallbladder attacks and that I had gall stones. I was put on a strict diet. I continued to have really bad attacks and ended up visiting at least every 2 weeks.
The nurses got to know me very well. We bonded and still not a day goes by that I don't think about how wonderful they were. They are amazing! I never felt so much concern and support from anyone. They truly made me feel alot better about my situation. When it finally came time to have my beautiful baby girl I felt so relieved that these nurses would be taking care of me because of the relationship we had established.
Now to this day I recommend St. Mary's to anyone and everyone no matter what their need is. I believe that even if I wouldn't have been a patient as much as I was, that I would still feel how much they care and how much pride they take in their job. So to the Doctors and Nurses in Labor and Delivery - thank you! You are all angels.
