We Will Remember Forever
Saturday Sept 8th we arrived in the ER with our cranky one year old son with a raging fever of 105.
Our son also has Spina Bifida so any little fever is a huge deal for him. The triage nurse was a gem! She knew the risks to him and put us into a private triage area after giving a hefty dose of Motrin. During our wait she monitored his temp every half hour. Upon our arrival to the exam room we met Nurse Derek and right behind him by a few steps was Dr. Jason Vaughn. Dr. Vaughn was wonderful. He ordered every thing under the moon to pinpoint the origin of his fever. He even conversed with our son's Riley Physicians. We had a long stay that night, but nurses Derek and Tonya made it very comfortable. We are very grateful for the time and attention we were given in a very busy trauma center. You have a wonderful staff! Thank you Dr. Vaughan, Derek, Tonya and St Mary's we will forever remember the special personal care.
