Advanced Trauma Life Support Provider Course
The St. Mary's Advanced Life Support Course for Doctors is designed for primary care physicians, surgeons, emergency medicine physicians, and physician extenders who care for trauma patients in the realm of practice.
The ATLS course is designed to reduce morbidity and mortality rates for trauma patients. The purpose of this course is for participants to be famliar with the initial assessment and management of the trauma patient.
This two day course consists of core content lectures, case presentations, discussions, development of life-saving interventional skills, and practical experience.
Lectures are given in the morning and practical skills stations are reserved for the afternoon. Courses will be held on the campus of St. Mary's Adult and Pediatric Trauma Centers, located at 3700 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN.
