Emergency Medical Technician Course Offered

St. Mary’s Warrick Emergency Medical Services will offer an Emergency Medical Technician course beginning Tuesday night, December 8th. The five-month EMT curriculum will be held every Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. in the Boonville Junior High School Auditorium, which is located at 555 North Yankeetown Road. Registration will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 3rd.
You must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma, or equivalent, to participate in the course. The entry-level program will put you on a path to new professional opportunities and personal satisfaction and will include the following:
An approved training course by the State of Indiana.
Classroom lectures, practical skills preparation and ambulance ride-along observation.
Observation time in St. Mary’s Emergency Department.
And you will qualify to take the State of Indiana EMT certification written exam or the National Registry of EMTs written exam upon completion.
