Emergency Medical Technician Course Offered

St. Mary’s Warrick Emergency Medical Services will offer an Emergency Medical Technician course beginning Tuesday night, December 8th. The five-month EMT curriculum will be held every Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. in the Boonville Junior High School Auditorium, which is located at 555 North Yankeetown Road. Registration will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 3rd.

You must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma, or equivalent, to participate in the course. The entry-level program will put you on a path to new professional opportunities and personal satisfaction and will include the following:

  • An approved training course by the State of Indiana.
  • Classroom lectures, practical skills preparation and ambulance ride-along observation.
  • Observation time in St. Mary’s Emergency Department.
  • And you will qualify to take the State of Indiana EMT certification written exam or the National Registry of EMTs written exam upon completion.
