“Success Not Failure” Heart Failure Support Group
This group is for those who have been diagnosed with heart failure and for their families, to provide educational and emotional support. These meetings are free of charge and open to the public. All classes are held at St. Mary’s Heart Institute at 3700 Washington Avenue. For more information or to register to attend call (812) 485-5230. ACHA is a national organization for adults, and adolescents, with congenital heart disease (CHD). The purpose of ACHA is to educate the public, adults with CHD, and the medical community about adult congenital heart issues through the development of forums, newsletters, support groups and other methods of public information. Mended Hearts, affiliated with the American Heart Association, is a support group for heart patients, families and caregivers. A network of people who have heart disease or families of patients are able to talk to patients and family members going through the same experience.
