Tim and Kay Flesch Postdoctoral Fellowship Program
Dr. Francisca Nzeke is the pediatric psychologist fellow for the 2015-2016 training year. She works with the licensed providers at the St. Mary’s Center for Children to provide outpatient assessment and therapy, feeding therapy, integrative physician services, and inpatient consultation to children and families on the pediatric medical units. She is also involved in a number of didactic and research opportunities.
In addition to her primary responsibilities, Dr. Nzeke works with the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation in a consultation and outreach capacity to students and their families. Specific responsibilities include collaborating with professionals through the inclusion autism spectrum classroom and other developmental classrooms at Culver Family Learning Center, and maintaining other consultative roles.
Dr. Nzeke belongs to the Catholic religious community of the Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus, based in Nigeria. Dr. Nzeke graduated from Notre Dame of Maryland University with B.S. in Psychology, MSC from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Educational Administration and with M.A. in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University in Maryland. Dr. Nzeke recently earned her doctorate degree (PsyD.) from the Adler University of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois and completed her pre-doctoral psychology internship at South Campus Therapeutic Day School in Palatine Illinois.
