St. Mary's Imaging Services performs more than 130,000 medical imaging procedures a year and is consistently at the forefront of radiology services and technology in the Tri-state.  Using state-of-the-art technology, our experienced and educated medical and technical staff can detect and diagnose your illness and ailments faster, more accurately and more reliably than ever before possible.

We use a Picture Archiving and Communications System, also known as PACS.  PACS allows for the viewing, archiving and transmitting of images as part of the digital medical record.  Through this system, we have been able to allow electronic access to all X-ray studies performed at St. Mary's to physicians treating a patient at any facility across the nation and at numerous hospitals in the Tri-State region.  This allows for easier access to those studies by physicians and more rapid care for the patient at lower costs because the exams do not have to be repeated.

The implementation of PACS at St. Mary's has enabled physician access to images anytime, anywhere.  Images can arrive at the physician's office within a matter of seconds and be compared to any previous studies with availability of direct consultation from our dedicated on-site Doctor of Radiology.
