A Message from the St. Mary's Warrick Administrator
Thank you for visiting the St. Mary’s Warrick web site and taking a “virtual” tour of some of our services. We are very proud of our Critical Access Hospital that is located in Boonville, Indiana, and that we have the opportunity of sharing this information with you.
Since 1975, St. Mary's Warrick Hospital has offered "The Care You Need... Close to Home" to the communities of Warrick, Spencer, and Pike counties. St. Mary's Warrick has been associated with Ascension Health (formerly Daughters of Charity National Health System) since 1978. The acute care facility operates as an entity of St. Mary's Health System, making it an important component of a respected integrated delivery network.
Accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) currently as a Critical Access Hospital, St. Mary's Warrick has maintained its JCAHO status since its opening in 1975. A critical access hospital is a hospital with a patient census of no more than 25 and provides health care services to residents in the area. JCAHO is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of care provided by an organization. The accreditation is voluntary, which signifies the staff's desire to maintain quality services for the community.
Our faith-based mission states that “rooted in the loving ministry of Jesus as healer, we commit ourselves to serving all persons with special attention to those who are poor and vulnerable...” As Administrator of St. Mary’s Warrick, I can truly say that our staff lives out the mission which is evidenced by the compassionate, caring, and respectful way they care for the needs of our patients on a daily basis. They truly provide “The Care You Need…Close to Home.”
