Visitors Are Our Honored Guests
Visiting Hours at St. Mary's
We consider visitors to be honored guests, second only to our patients, and we have a very liberal patient-centered visiting policy with few restrictions. Please balance the need for the patient's rest with your desire to visit. We request that all visitors speak quietly and avoid unnecessary noise for the benefit of the patient.
We ask that you check with the nurse in charge concerning visitors under the age of 12.
After Hours Visitation
For the security of our patients and staff, the main hospital doors are locked between 10:00 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. No entrance or exit is possible during those hours. Visitors are asked to utilize the Emergency Department doors and should sign in with our Security staff when entering for visitation during these hours.
We ask that you not utilize the Emergency Room parking area unless you are an emergency patient needing access for immediate assistance by our emergency staff.
Please Protect the Health of Our Patients
Hand washing is the single most effective way to prevent the spread of infection to our patients. Please feel free to use the hand sanitizers that you will find located throughout the hospital. If you have a cold, sore throat or any other communicable disease, in the best interest of the patient, we ask that you please refrain from visiting.
All St. Mary's campuses are smoke free.
